Public Hearing slated on Air Regulations change of effective date

Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA) is proposing changes to their regulations to update the effective date for state and federal regulations currently referenced or adopted by reference in the agency’s regulations. Currently, the effective date is July 1, 2023. This proposal would change the effective date to July 1, 2024.

On July 10, 2024, a formal hearing on the proposed regulation change will be held at Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA), 2940 Limited Lane NW, in Olympia during their regular scheduled Board meeting which begins at 10 a.m.

Comments on the rule may be submitted in writing during the public comment period, beginning June 10, 2024. Comments may be mailed to ORCAA at 2940 Limited Lane NW, Olympia WA 98502, or emailed to dan.nelson@orcaa.org. The deadline for submitting comments is 10 a.m. July 10, 2024. Oral or written comments will also be accepted during the public hearing on July 10, 2024, in person, or via the Zoom link on ORCAA’s website.
